So my curls got smaller--due to the lack of hair wax. And because I've paid little attention to it. Haha. From Peyton Sawyer circa season one, I now look like...the Santo Niño. And I know Kuya Joe agrees. Haha. :P
Anyway....So it was Jinxx's high school graduation yesterday. Boo. I was forced to attend it, mainly because we are related by blood--unfortunately--and the Unwritten Law, too powerful and almighty to be put in the New Family Code of the Philippines (NFCP), says "Thou shalt attend thy loser sister's graduation, whether you like it or not." So ayun, I found myself sulking in the back of the car beside my dear, dear sister (who was even sulkier than I was gah).
When we got to the school, Jinxx left to meet up with her friends. Papa, Mama, Martini and I went to the gym, where the ceremony was to be held. As I entered the gym, I immediately spotted my tita and cousins (because cousin Tammy was also graduating--congrats, Tammy! :P). So, like any mabait na pamangkin, I began running towards them. A few feet away from where they were sitting, a couple of seniors' parents were talking. When I went past them, one of the mommies called out to me,
"JINKY! JINKY!"
I looked at her and I was like, "WTF?!" Hahaha. Just kidding! Nah, I just looked at her with a puzzled expression then I strode to my tita and cousins.
In respect of the confused mom and her daughter, I won't be telling their names. But I'm just gonna give a hint-hint: the mom is a doctor. Damn, ano bang meron sa mga Doktora Mommy and me? Haha. XP
Word of advice for the poor, mistaken Doktora Mommy: "Kung hindi po kayo nasabihan ng anak n'yo, ang mga graduates po naka-gala uniform. Ako po naka-purple dress. If the attire does not make it obvious enough, I'll say it plainly, in a calm, peaceful manner--
HINDI AKO SI JINKY! Thank you."
Haha.
Grabe talaga. People keep switching me and Jinxx--and we're NOT even twins!
After the graduation ceremony, we ate at Ichi, a local Japanese restaurant in Paseo de Sta. Rosa. The crew were looking at me and Jinxx and they were asking Papa, "Sir, sino sa kanila 'yung mas matanda?"
Haay, nako. The forbidden question. Haha.
I therefore conclude that, at 19 years old (soon to be 20), Fides Ocampo can still pass as a high school senior. O, di ba? And you thought only 21-year-old Zac Efron can do that. ;)
I had my hair done today. FINALLY. Haha. I've been planning on it since...like, forever! Naunahan pa ako ni Kae magpagupit.
Anyhoo...since it's summer, I got all the time in the world to get my hair (which is a "hybrid"--half-curls, half-straight! Haha! :P). My hair ended up looking like One Tree Hill's Peyton Elizabeth Sawyer's curls circa season ONE.
Yeah, like this:
...except, of course, it's not blonde and it's not as pretty as hers. Haha.
Oh, and I had this ENERGY EXPLOSION last night. Yeah, sobra. Grabe! I guess being stuck at home, wala akong ginagawa. By the evening, I was like an energy ball! All the pent-up and unspent energy just exploded! Haha! I was singing and dancing to Katy Perry's "I Kissed A Girl" (hence, the incluson of the song in this entry). Also, I had my Avril Lavigne moment with "Girlfriend (Remix)," then I did my best re-enactment of High School Musical songs--"You Are The Music In Me (Sharpay & Troy Version)" and "A Night To Remember." And I did Spice Girls' "Wannabe" and Metro Station's "Shake It."
Thank God walang video! I was a one-woman show for my siblings. Haha! It's my super-foolproof plan to drive my dear little brother crazy.
A quote from my brother Martini:
s"Alam ko na kung saan nakuha ni MM 'yung magulo siya kahit hindi naman siya drunk--kay Papa!"
I went to Enchanted Kingdom (yes, again) yesterday, March 22. I'm still fixing the photos from the trip, so while I'm still busy with that, here is a teaser (especially for Myles O, who did NOT join us for our little outing. Pfft. Haha.
See, Myles? I photoshopped you in. Naka-uniform ka nga lang, kasi that was the first pic I have of you na full body shot. And it's not so neat, I was in a hurry. Haha. :P
I know what you're gonna say. I'm a B. Haha.
I had planned to start on today's Literature 102 to-do list early in the morning. But due to the planned-but-did-not-push-through Pancake House breakfast, getting lost around San Jose Village before finally getting to Nike's house to pick up Jinxx, attending the Sunday Mass which I did not understand because I was too distracted with my otalgia (that's ear ache to you common people, ha! :P), and the planned-and-pushed-through lunch at Paseo where we ate a 20-inch pizza and those cute little pizza rice thingies—WHEW!—I failed to start on THE THESIS PAPER.
In short, kaninang 8pm lang ako naka-start gumawa ng THE THESIS PAPER.
Even so, look at what Literature 102 has made me do:
Mehn. The things that you do for love literature class.
You wanna know what's funny? THE THESIS PAPER isn't even MINE! Haha. ABA! HE is more makapal ang mukha than me. THE THESIS PAPER is still far from being finished, and he has quizzes tomorrow and nagpunta pa sa Villa Escudero para kumain sa "table sa may river tapos nakalubog yung paa mo sa water."
Naks! Haha, that's crap, and YOU and I know it. Haha. This is my kabangagan talking. Sane Fides has left the building—and Crazy Fides has taken her place. :)
Waah! Haha. I think I better get back to work. I've said enough crazy things for one blog—and I'm not even drunk! Haha.
Nako. It drowned in milk already.
