geez, the crap that people do!

see, there i was--minding my own business, sitting in english class, listening to my teacher (er, well i did listen a bit), silently hoping that there'd be a sudden earthquake or an alien invasion or a tsunami (just for the record, taga-bundok ako) that would break the monotony of my ever-boring life--then...a teacher came.

i got called out of the classroom, and for a moment there, i thought i was in big trouble. our principal just announced during the morning that those who had offenses would be called in between classes. shoot. but then again, the teacher who called me turned out to be the activities coordinator, so i was able to calm down. a few others were called: ailo, lee, madz, and kit. in short, the school band--geothea.

our teacher showed us an invitation letter from canossa. we were invited to play in the band competition on 20 january. wow. eto na naman kami, isasabak sa gulo. hehe. well, our teacher did say we could talk about it before telling her if we're joining or not.

the prospect of being able to play again in front of a crowd--and maybe for the last time, before graduation--was quite exciting...but, sheesh--it was already on the 20th! who the hell were they kidding?!

this is definitely one of those "better never than late" things. what was the point of telling us, when the event was just two weeks away? sheesh. and before that, there's the screening on the 11th! hell, i dunno about my other bandmates, but i will need to practice for that--and have lessons. i can, in no way, play without having lessons with ariel. i'd be deadmeat if ever that's the case. damn, the funny things people do...tsk tsk.

by the way, the letter was dated 29 november. 29 november! and they were telling us just now?!

oh, and can i just say one more thing? ...
