wow, grabeh! jam session kanina! astig! haha. like, ultraelectromagneticJAM ka-astigan! to the max! yeah, baybeh!
haha. jam session kanina, TLE period. we made mango jam. yeah, jam. as in jam. the jam you spread on bread. haha.
...until now, my hand smells like mangoes. yyyyyuuuuuucccckkkkk!!!
i so don't want to do that again. never. i am no good when it comes to kitchen stuff, and especially when it comes to preparing the food. firstly, kanina, i didn't know how to slice the mangoes. i was like, "did you cut it in half ba?" and stuff, then aya was like, "ano ka ba, aki? may buto yan sa gitna, hindi mo yan mahihiwa sa kalahati!". i know, embarassing, right? i am 16 years old and i don't know how to slice mangoes--or any other fruit (except apples) for that matter.
i don't eat fruits kasi eh. i don't even like fruit-flavored stuff--mango ice cream, grape jellyace, and the like. i can eat fruit-flavored candies, mainly because most are artificially flavored. haha.
i swear, i felt so much pity for myself kanina! haha. i laughed it off na lang. pero it was really hard for me. do teachers give loads of points for effort? because i really put a lot into that damn jam.
i came up with another quotable quote while doing the jam:
"save your finger, not the grade." haha. because while we were making the jam, it started to boil and the big blob i was stirring started to make talsik-talsik everywhere! damn hot! it was bad enough that i got some on the uniform, but then i also got it on my hands and face, OUCH! and as i was using a metal spoon to stir the jam, my spoon got so hot, too. from then until i reached home, i was nursing my finger. napaso kasi ako! boo hoo.
haha. whatta experience. pinaka-kakaibang jam session! hoohoo! hehe. first and last, hopefully.
*still can't get over the traumatizing experience of having to make jam. haha.*
