happy new year!!! weee! another year, another twelve months to make a fool out of myself! can't get better than that...

i had a very wacky 31december, nyahaha! actually i realized something--waiting never works (hehe, nakalagay na sa title, duh!). see, i'd been telling my sister that spongecola played during the mtv hiv/aids music summit. so she came running to me, telling me that mtv had a re-run of the 2005 summit (around 03.00pm yesterday). i told her i'd be willing to wait for the performance of spongecola for her. the hours passed by, band after band performed. i'd watched bits of it before, but none of spongecola performing. part one was already over, then part two aired. i waited a bit, but after a few more performances, i told her i don't think sc was there. i said i'd been waiting far too long, and i didn't want to wait anymore. we looked through the net to check if they were performing, and the we saw spongecola did perform--during the mtv hiv/aids music summit 2004! haha! i felt so stupid waiting for hours--and for nothing! (well i did see yanny yuzon when pupil played, so pwede na rin...). haha! my sister couldn't forgive me after, heehee. it wasn't my fault naman eh, i didn't specify which summit!

tsk, tsk. my poor sister. poor me--i waited! stupid talaga! so, the (im)moral lesson: don't wait. it never works. haha!

anyway, moving on...i just realized kung gaano ka-tindi ang effect ng spongecola (*yael*) sa 'kin. hehe. almost all my posts (so far) never fails to mention "spongecola" or "yael". weird! and freaky! and scary! i don't plan on becoming an obsessed, crazed fan of his. i mean, i like him--pero i'm not the type of fan who'd go "grabe, mahal ko na siya" (no offense to anybody). i'm a big fan, but obsession would be too much. but looking at my entries, wow! haha! i am interested, though, in how he writes songs--especially because we're supposed to compose our graduation song, and my composition is just plain shit. damn, i wish i could write like him...
