oooohhh yeahh!!!

didn't get to blog yesterday, 'cause i was busy partying! haha. ayus. tagoink! medyo sabog pa rin ako, hangover. heehee.

it was lee's birthday yesterday! happy birthday, lee! aww, she's SEVENTEEN!!! we went to the studio after school to celebrate. pero before that, school stuff muna...

graduation pictorial yesterday, which was quite, er, pissing off but alright at the same time. i kinda got pissed off because my mates and i had been waiting since morning to have our pictures taken. as in, like, 8 or 9 am. but the sixth-graders went first, and they were like, 20-something or 30-something in class. and we were just 18! we were s'pposed to be the priority. hmm, my "violet beauregarde syndrome" again. aheehee. but it was great that we didn't have classes. even miss connie, who's like i-don't-care-if-you're-having-pictorials-we're-still-gonna-have-classes, finally gave up when she saw that we had no intention of listening to her. pakanta-kanta pa ng "hhhhhhaaaaaappppppppyyyyyyy bbbbbiiiiiirrrttthhhhhddddaaaaayyyyyyy ttttttooooooo yyyyyyyoooooouuuu" (yeah, THAT long!) just to waste as much of our filipino time as posiible. haha. baaad girls. haha.

too bad there wasn't any escape when it came to entrepreneurship and debate classes. entrepreneurship wasn't that bad, since all we did was play (yeah, play!) the cashflow boardgame. while playing, we landed on the spot that had "baby" on it. so now, my group has a baby. haha. you'll understand what i mean if you're familiar with the game...kit ("kevin") and i named the "baby" eduard. like the schizophrenic in paulo coelho's "veronika decides to die." kit and i are using the book for our research paper kasi eh.

debate was absolute boredom. honestly, i didn't understand kit's speech kasi about taxing the church eh, so my questions were so walang kwenta. don't worry, kit, it's not your speech that's stupid. i'm stupid. haha. matagal na, i know.

i liked the pictorial, by the way. not the make-up or hair. sabi ng friends ko ayos lang naman daw, and mom said maganda naman daw pala. but i believe otherwise. anyway, kelan ba ako naging "maganda"? haha. no chance. huhuhu. but having my picture taken--heehee, feeling model. astig.

and then......



i went to the studio with kate and gisele. duh, we rode on the same service! haha. we arrived before the others did, but my other mates arrived minutes after we did. kaso, meron pa ako konting make-up pa ako nun, kasi di ko na tinanggal sa school (wala naman yata sa 'min nagtanggal ng make-up eh). letschTM! guro ariel and the rest of the studio peeps were there! kahiya! haha. tuksuhan na 'toh! haha. tsk tsk. at least mas bakla talaga ako kay guro! haha. i win! i win! i win!

funny, just moments after we arrived, inayos na yung food and drinks. free pizza!!! haay, heaven. kagulo lahat when the first pizza came. ang ingay ng mga tao. haha. trademark ng kulasa. puro patay-gutom pa! i had, like, one slice of pizza from every platter that was laid on the table. we actually just "rested" when miss det and sir shaun came. hintayin daw sila makakain ng kahit isang slice man lang before kami kag-start na lumamon ulit. haha. eh kaso, sabi ng mom ni lee, "kuha na kayo. meron pa naman isa," eh di agawan na naman. ah ah. humbeliners talaga, walang patawad!

when miss det and sir shaun joined us, "mag-klase" daw kami. kay miss det, puro demand and supply daw ng pizza. kay sir shaun, yung lines and colors ng platter. tapos, cle daw kasi both of 'em are cle teachers. eh di meron akong, "god said, 'feed the hungry'" sabay kuha ng pizza. haha. meron pang isang humirit nung "blessed are those who hunger and thirst." grabeh, mga may amats na. pizza pa lang. haha. ulol.

while we made lamon the food, nag-set up ng yung nexphase sa harap ng smart kids. they took out all the instruments. we waited until it got darker beforewe started "par-taying." nexphase played for us. they did covers of some songs, then they also did original compositions. there's one song of theirs which i really liked. i heard them play it before kasi, when i went for a lesson with guro. not sure about the title, but i think it's "so complete." basta that one. i found it funny na kami lang ang audience nila. parang private show talaga.



'stig talaga. but then they had to take a break--bad idea. napasubo tuloy kami sa pagtugtog. letschTM! embarrassment to the maxx! tita betsy (lee's mom) kasi told me to play, nakakahiya naman na tumanggi. hinila pa ako ni guro dun. huhu. si ailo din eh, hinila lang. madz and angge were vocals. and, of course, birthday girl played guitars. we were missing our keyboardist, si aidlem jr. (haha, aya), so si aidlem na lang nag-play for us. we played "play that funky music", kaso kalat. haha. i hadn't held a bass since we played during the rock and groove concert, so nanibago ako. what was even more difficult was the fact that i was using ariel's bass guitar, eh it was the big bass! mine was a short-necked one, kasi mas naaabot ko yung frets and strings nun. pero and tindi nung kay ariel. letschTM! tapos di na rin memorize nina madz and angge yung first part nung song. heehee. i was shaking talaga. kahiya yun. lalo na since guro was watching, eh ang lupit nun mag-bass. tsk tsk. at least one song lang. ayus naman daw yung tugtog sabi ni pamboy eh. (should i take that guy's word for it? haha. peace!).

then, back with nexphase. great performance talaga. i swear those guys are gonna hit it big. hihintayin ko yun.

when they finished, rest na sila. tuksuhan na naman! pasimuno si guro! darn. tsk tsk. niaaway ako ng guro ko! huhuhu. bakla! haha. mas bakla ako, inggit ka lang! peace!

my mates and i also had fun nga pala taking pictures. kabaklaan ko umiral. haha. ask my mates na lang, kinahihiya ko yung sarili ko kahapon. haha. we also played with the ice. kasi kumuha sila ng ice from the soda boxes, tapos nagsilagayan sa likod ng isa't isa. dinamay pa ako! di naman ako kasali. haha. huhuhu. poor me. kaya takbo-takbo din ako. heehee.

then, time to go home. ihahatid pa kasi namin si jessica, who had to be home by 0930pm. ayus lang naman, no biggie. di naman sira night ko, since i did have loads of fun. jessica (a pioneer) was with kuya joe and jinx kasi. they met with some of the other pioneers, who were studying at different colleges. i think every weekends those girls meet eh. so yun. eh si kuya joe daw magsusundo sa 'kin. so uwian na. i met some of the pioneers sa cafe breton before kami umuwi--sina nike (family!), celine, and zyrah (titscher!). haha.

ADVERTISE KO LANG: NEXPHASE daw will be playing later sa brittany bay @9pm. haha. sayang, i can't go. meron naman daw yata sa feb11 eh. pero i doubt if i'd also be able to go to that one...haay.
