after four years of high school...WE. ARE. DONE.
yep, we're done. we're out of high school and off to college. yahoo! freedom! haha. more gimmicks, parties, and better social lives. oh, and more work.
haay, patawa yung graduation rites. nagpractice na kami't lahat-lahat, palpak pa rin yung ibang parts. di sabay tumayo and umupo, there was a moment when we didn't know kung ano isasagot. heehee. nag-practice pa! bit o' a waste o' time. but still, little practice is better than none.
patawa din 'rents ko. i only told them kasi na merit lang award ko. mom looked disappointed. then they saw the program just before we went to school, and then the list of awards and awardees were there. kaya almost the whole time that we were on the way to school, she kept saying stuff about how come she was never told of my awards blah blah blah. haha. hanggulo.
i felt a bit sad kasi some of my classmates came late, kaya they weren't able to march down the carpet. sayang.
graduation ceremony was short. well, considering that we high school grads are only 18, and the grade school grads are only 24, we shouldn't be expecting a long ceremony, right? duh! tagoink!
it was nice, all in all...except for that time when my mom laughed out so loud--like, REALLY loud. some parents and my classmates were like, "fides, mommy mo yun!". syet. kahiya! and then, when i was walking to get my diploma, the medals i wore kept clinking. ang ingay, patawa. heehee. sabi nila sr. edna and nung teachers, "maingay ba? hawakan lang muna, hawakan." haay, naku. graduating na nga ako, puro embarrassing moments pa...
actually, yesterday was really nice. even at home, everyone was nice to me. kasi yesterday, while the stylist fixed my hair and make-up, Lost was on TV. and then martin wanted to watch, eh i was watching, and then my mom was like, "let her finish Lost," to my brother. even when we got home from pancake house in tagaytay (it was VERY cold, by the way), Lost was on again. rerun of the week's episode *sigh*. i was like a little kid, and sabi ko kay mama, "naabutan ko pa yung Lost." and she was like, "oh? umabot ka pa sa Lost? that's nice..." haha. weird. eh before kasi, we kinda fight kasi addicted to Lost na daw ako sabi ni mama...
whew! i'm so happy. grade school's done. high school's done. college na, baybeh!
