okay, so we just arrived in vietnam today, for our forty-day vacation. whew, forty days! what am i gonna do for forty days? parang double Lenten season...haha.
anyhow, so we were at the airport, and i just realized how addicted to Lost i actually am. i took note of some things regarding this.
I KNOW I'M ADDICTED TO LOST because...
...while checking in, i hoped that i'd get seat 23A (jack's seat) on the plane.
...i kept staring at this girl in front of me who looked like a younger version of yunjin kim (sun).
...i brought some books to read (sawyer's pasttime on the island), in case the plane crashes and i'd be stuck doing nothing on the island.
...i made sure i brought extra clothes and sandals, so that i'd have things to use if we ever crash on a deserted island.
...sun and jin kept popping up in my head whenever i see koreans (er, asians, actually).
..."you all everybody" kept playing in my mind as i waited to board the plane.
...i saw a huge guy with sweaty clothes, and immediately thought of hurley.
...when i saw a guy wearing shoes with a checkered design, i was reminded of charlie.
...i remembered walt as i watched my brother playing his gameboy--it was the same thing walt was doing while waiting for their plane.
...i thought of locke as the PA asked for a wheelchair attendant.
...i saw a man who looked middle-eastern (or was it indian?), and thought of sayid.
...there was a man (mr. john) seating beside mom who chatted with her all throughout the filght. he asked about us (kids) and listened to mom's stories regarding us, and i thought he'd be like mr. friendly and kidnap us when we get off the plane. (he turned out to be a nice man, though.)
the doctor is out
