we went to mass this evening, for maundy thursday. it was english naman, so there weren't any problems with regards to understanding the readings and all. what was just really annoying was the priest--british kasi eh (i think...). the accent was alright, kaso the way he read was just...so...slow.

and it was really hot, so that kinda pissed me off. siyempre, aircon ba naman sa apartment ni papa all day, then i go out of the apartment and poof! no more aircon. goodbye, cold air. hello, hot and polluted and hazardous city air. haha.

anyway, so dun sa chapel where we heard mass, there was a great number of pinoys. there were also some chinese-looking people, indians, and some american-looking men (basta caucasian features/whites/whatever you wanna call 'em), then a few hybrids--mixes of different races. hehe. being in the presence of pinoys wasn't actually comfy. there wasn't that feeling of happiness seeing my kababayans. ewan ko, basta there was no sense of familiarity. hmmm...

i looked around and saw a lot of kids. cute little kids. some were pinoys. there was this cute curly-haired little boy being carried by his daddy. ang cute talaga! then this indian kid na ganda-ganda ng eyes. pero my favorite kid was this chinese-looking little boy sitting a few rows before me. ang likot-likot niya, kinukulit yung mommy and daddy niya. he kept counting with his fingers, kaso when it came to after seven, he went back to six. kaya naging, "three, four, five, six, seven...six, seven..." heehee. and then he went to the sister there, and he asked, "how did you get here?" in this cutesy way. di naman kasi siya american, so yung accent niya iba. basta patawa talaga, parang "ha di you ge 'ere?"

P.S. good friday bukas, wala na naman ako blogging nyan...anyway, it's just one more day without blogging. easter na on sunday, so pwede!
