papa played golf yesterday, so we didn't attend the english anticipated mass. we went to mass today at the notre dame cathedral. astig, parang world youth day ulit. loads of people were there, and they were people of different nationalities and races. saya! mostly vietnamese, and noypi. some were french and europeans (i heard them speaking). there was a european couple with their kids--twin boys, adopted, obviously (they looked like asian kids). then some american people, and other asian people.

the mass took a bit longer, though. the priest was vietnamese, but since hindi naman lahat can understand the language, he had to pray in english, too. kaya after the vietnamese prayer, english naman (or vice versa). haay, i kinda got sleepy. haha.

then we toured saigon south, then ate lunch at diamond plaza. a noypi family greeted us, kahit di namin kilala. they were like, "oh, filipinos? hello! kamusta?"

then back to sky garden for some piece and quiet.


while on the elevator going up to the 9th floor (where our flat is):

PAPA pokes MAMA on the waist, "attempting" to tickle her, like he does with us kids.

ME
pa, wag ka na umasa.
di naman yun gagana kay mama eh.
it just bounces on her fats.

PAPA
hahaha! sama mo talaga sa mama mo!

ME
totoo naman eh!
tingin mo.

i poked mom. nothing happened.

P.S. mama reminded me about my license. magpaturo daw ako sa driver ni papa kung paano mag-drive. nyak! eh di ko na nga alam kung saan ko nilagay license ko eh.
