allow me to rant...

mukha ba akong batang gala? i mean, like, party girl-type, always out of the house, gimikera? do i look like someone who spends more time sa mall than sa house? because hello!!! i am so not like that! i swear! yah, really. i'd really prefer to stay home than go to the mall. i like to save money, not use it on clothes and stuff. and besides, i don't even know how to commute, noh! hmp!

hehe. that's just a mild ranting. mga tao kasi, pag nakita ako, iniisip yata nila na gimikera ako eh, hehe. kumusta naman 'yon?! me, the party girl? me, the mall girl? uh uh. no way.

see, a few weeks back, i was at 7-Eleven with paola, bianca, and leigh. we were talking about dorms. pao and i stay sa dorm. si bianca uwian sa QC, si leigh sa parañaque. i told them i stay sa dorm since i'm from laguna pa, and leigh was surprised. "taga-laguna ka, fides?!" she asked. i said yeah. what she said next totally cracked me up. sabi niya, "ows, talaga? hindi nga? taga-laguna ka? hindi ka kasi mukhang taga-laguna. mukha kang taga, uh, taga-dito!"

what?! me? a city girl? weh! haha. i don't think i even dress like city kids, but meh...

then everytime na our classes would be cut short since there's no prof, or some activity comes up, alyssa would ask me (in a joking manner), "o, saan na naman ang gimik mo ngayon?"

gimik? on a school day? i'm not that type of kid, sorry. bakit naman niya naisip yun? hehe.

then last thursday, i went to school wearing casual clothes. it was already three in afternoon, my classes ended at noon. on my way to the medicine building, nasalubong ko sina DJ and ian. ian was like, "hi fides. saan ka papunta?" so i answered, "ha? eh, ano, dyan lang. may pupuntahan lang ako sa med audi." then DJ was joking like, "hinde...gagala lang yan..."

why do people say that?! sheesh!

i asked miko kung hindi ba ako mukhang laguna kid, and if i always dress up like may gimik akong pupuntahan. without hesitation, she answered, "mukha kang galing dito sa manila. and kahit hindi ka magbihis, lagi kang mukhang gagala, noh! nasa mukha mo pa lang eh, tapos yung damit pa!"

whhhhaaaa---?! damn, these people gotta meet my loser sister who's like an upgraded version of me--when it comes to katarayan and brattiness and gimikera-looking. my elitist jinx.

anyway, enough of that. fine, gimikera kung gimikera. haha! di nga ako umattend ng acquaintance party sa metrobar eh. *sniff, sniff*. if i reach second year, i might go. hmmm...

i made pa-epal at the medicine auditorium last thursday, nung college week ng rehab science (PT, OT, SpS). haha. astig, may band competition and dance stuff. ang sweet nung mga may own competitions for their special someones. yung host na guy ang cool--and mukhang gwapo. i'm not sure since i was like way, way at the back of the auditorium. heehee. then ang ligalig nung mga PT interns na band. haha, pinakamasaya sila. and then i finally saw what i really came there for: the PT interns' dance number. ASTIG!! really. and to think ayaw ko sana pumunta since mag-isa lang ako. i just went kasi nahiya naman ako sa roommate ko (ate gpie), who was one of the dancers ng PT interns. in the end, i was glad i came. very glad.

oh, but the best part was the PT interns' video. they made a MTV of themselves, tapos yung song "Katawan." basta, bentang-benta!

hopefully, college week namin ganun din kasaya. :)
