my mom seriously wants me out of the house. Seriously!

she saw this ad on the newspaper kasi, about Cathay Pacific's promo thingy. like, a youth camp of sorts. it's the "International Wilderness Experience" and it's offered for kids aged 16-18. it's gonna be in Johannesburg, South Africa.

yeah. AFRICA.

damn. ngayon ko nakikita how much my mom wants me out of the house. as if it's not enough that i spend the whole week in a dormitory in manila kapag school days, now she wants me in another country, in another continent! syet.

back in 2004, she used my name, my identity, and inquired in an england school that offers a summer school scholarship. and off i went to england. in 2005, she didn't hesitate to let me go on a two-week stay in germany for a youth congress. and now, she wants me to go and live in africa for 9 days. oh, what joy.

well, i always wanted to go to africa. but i was planning on that kapag tapos na ako with school. clearly, mama has other plans. maybe i'll get eaten by lions. or tigers. or elephants would squash me like a bug. or meerkats would scratch me to death. god, i need some sleep. kung anu-ano na naiisip ko. haha. i'm crap.

can't my mom just say, "get outta here!"? that's more convenient. and i don't have to risk getting on a plane to africa then the plane crashes and i find myself in a deserted island with polar bears and a hatch that needs to have numbers like 4 8 15 16 23 42 keyed in every 108minutes. haha. ooh, Lost. haha.

haha. just kiddin'. mama likes sending me to these sort of stuff. summer school in england. IBYC and world youth day in germany. too bad i ain't going to africa anytime soon--the promo pala isn't offered in the philippines. only in hong kong and vietnam and a bunch of other countries. but no philippines.

oh well, i guess i'm staying here. and i'm good with that.

okay, fine. in case YOU are reading this--just for your reading pleasure: you are a good reason why i'd rather stay here. but of course, you know that already. ;)
