Our RLE group was at the health center. There were posters of health and nutrition stuff on the walls. We made Kenechi (Miss Nigeria) read them, because they were in Filipino. We did translate the info for her once in a while. Innah was the best at it.
Kenechi: Ang itlog. Mayaman sa protina...Oh, that means it's rich in proteins, right?
We: Yeah!
Kenechi: Ang kolesterol na--what's that word? tag-lay?
Innah: Yes, taglay. That means, the cholesterol inside of it.
*What the--? Nasa loob mismo ng itlog ung cholesterol?*

We were talking about Joyce and Mr. Someone-She-Is-Currently-Linked-To.
Joyce: Friends lang talaga kami.
Kenechi: Yeah, I know they're just friends. But...
Innah (I think): What?
Kenechi: I don't know why you guys make a big deal out of it.
Innah: Because they.
Everyone: Huh?
