Yes, I was relieved of my "Fides' 24-Hour Chaffeur Service Which She Hates So Darn Much." In short, I stayed curled up in bed during the morning and Ma drove the kids around. Weeee!!!
Little Princess Iya and I were playing a while ago in Lolo's room, and she dragged me from the door--where we were waving goodbye to a choo-choo train in the middle of our backyard--and she went up to the side of Lolo's bed and told me, "Kiss Lolo, kiss Lolo." She kissed the pillow on the bed where Lolo used to sleep, and looked at me, expecting to follow suit. I followed, of course. We went about like that for a couple of times before she and I went off to get imaginary clothes from Lolo's closet and pretend to put them on. Oh, and did I mention? We had imaginary dippers (or maybe a long hose, I'm not sure what was in her imaginative brain) and we went from one side of the small room to the other, supposedly "watering the plants."
I just realized something today while playing with Iya--I don't even kneel before the statue of Jesus when I enter a church, but my three-year-old niece can make me bow down to her with one look. Ah, the power of Iya. I am at the mercy of a toddler. Haha.
Ooh! I had bubble-gum flavored ice cream and it turned my tongue to a bright blue color. Not the dark blue like the Philippine flag's blue. More like the blue of the hair of the Little Twin Star boy. Actually, the ice cream was like those Little Twin Star kids--pink and blue. I like it, but I take it other kids my age would find it...immature, to say the least.
My nose itches. And we went to Sariaya, Quezon--again--the day before yesterday. I waded in the beach with striped black fishies.
...Okay, I'm blabbing. Haha. Too many random things in one post. Oh-ho. It doesn't hurt to have some randomness and spontaneity in life once in a while. Try it--it's gooooood. ;)
P.S. There was supposed to be a meteor shower sometime between yesterday and today. The Lyrid meteor shower, something like 10-15 meteors--"falling stars," "shooting stars," whatever--per hour. I dunno if we here in the middle of the Pacific could see it. Oh well. I've never seen one before, I was hoping to. Bleh. As if.
P.P.S. My brain's a mush. I'm talking nonsense. I like it. Haha. XP
