I'm just about done with all the drama, thank God. Besides, I don't really seem to fit the drama queen role. Haha. Well, the drama is reserved for one person--and one person alone. HE gave me a call already, naiyak ko na lahat sa kanya (I think), so all is well again.
Damn you. This is exactly a replay of last year's gramma-drama. Two dead grandparents in two years--hmm, whatta record for the Ocampo clan.
Anyways...
I was one of only three people at home this afternoon--the other two were Jinky and our househelp. By 3.45pm, my cousin Tammy texted me to say that she, Josh and JM were heading back to Don Bosco after their football game in La Salle-Greenhills. I texted my dad to ask if he was gonna pick 'em up. He didn't reply. After two more texts without reply, I grabbed the car keys. I called out to Jinky, who was watching TV:
"Hey, Jinx. I'm just gonna go to DB to pick up the kids."
WTF?!?!?!
"Pick up the kids"?! The kids happened to be just a few years younger than me! "The kids"?! Where the hell did that come from? Ako ba nagsabi nun?! Haha.
"The kids." Mehn, tumatanda na ako. First, I fetch my cousins and brother from training like a soccer mom, and now I'm calling them "the kids" like a soccer mom. Oh dear.
