So my curls got smaller--due to the lack of hair wax. And because I've paid little attention to it. Haha. From Peyton Sawyer circa season one, I now look like...the Santo NiƱo. And I know Kuya Joe agrees. Haha. :P
Anyway....So it was Jinxx's high school graduation yesterday. Boo. I was forced to attend it, mainly because we are related by blood--unfortunately--and the Unwritten Law, too powerful and almighty to be put in the New Family Code of the Philippines (NFCP), says "Thou shalt attend thy loser sister's graduation, whether you like it or not." So ayun, I found myself sulking in the back of the car beside my dear, dear sister (who was even sulkier than I was gah).
When we got to the school, Jinxx left to meet up with her friends. Papa, Mama, Martini and I went to the gym, where the ceremony was to be held. As I entered the gym, I immediately spotted my tita and cousins (because cousin Tammy was also graduating--congrats, Tammy! :P). So, like any mabait na pamangkin, I began running towards them. A few feet away from where they were sitting, a couple of seniors' parents were talking. When I went past them, one of the mommies called out to me,
"JINKY! JINKY!"
I looked at her and I was like, "WTF?!" Hahaha. Just kidding! Nah, I just looked at her with a puzzled expression then I strode to my tita and cousins.
Hanggang sa graduation ba naman ni Jinky naguguluhan pa rin sila sa amin?!
In respect of the confused mom and her daughter, I won't be telling their names. But I'm just gonna give a hint-hint: the mom is a doctor. Damn, ano bang meron sa mga Doktora Mommy and me? Nako, dapat yata lumayo-layo na ako sa mga anak ng doctors. Haha. XP
Word of advice for the poor, mistaken Doktora Mommy: "Kung hindi po kayo nasabihan ng anak n'yo, ang mga graduates po naka-gala uniform. Ako po naka-purple dress. If the attire does not make it obvious enough, I'll say it plainly, in a calm, peaceful manner--
HINDI AKO SI JINKY! Thank you."
Haha.
Grabe talaga. People keep switching me and Jinxx--and we're NOT even twins!
After the graduation ceremony, we ate at Ichi, a local Japanese restaurant in Paseo de Sta. Rosa. The crew were looking at me and Jinxx and they were asking Papa, "Sir, sino sa kanila 'yung mas matanda?"
Haay, nako. The forbidden question. Haha.
I therefore conclude that, at 19 years old (soon to be 20), Fides Ocampo can still pass as a high school senior. O, di ba? And you thought only 21-year-old Zac Efron can do that. ;)
